Thanks for a very usful first meeting.
There is a need to improve the session quality and we should consider
using either access grid or video conferencing facilities.
I have been searching for Clemson at
http://www.accessgrid.org/node/
I should be very grateful if someone could tell me where we can find
the Clemson virtual venue.
I am also looking at the following venue server
https://vv3.mcs.anl.gov:8000/Venues/default
Please can somebody provide me with the connection information for the
Clemson Virtual venue
Also from the meeting here is a summmary of our objectives that we discussed
1. Using video conferencing, access grid or VRVS (EVO) organise group
discussions on topics of interest. Such a group might foster
collaboration between the White Rose Grid and Clemson communities.
2. Develop and implement a sharing arrangement for using White Rose
Grid and Clemson Compute resources,
similar to the existing White Rose Grid Model.
3. Provide and share training in High Performance and Grid Computing ,
this would use a combination of Video Conferencing, Web2 and learning
resources.
Best Wishes
Mike Griffiths
