<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Objectives:</b> The SEMS Division aims to recognize and honor an individual who has significantly advanced the knowledge and practice of engineering and management systems in the realm of industrial engineering education. The award will
be presented at the IISE Annual Conference & Expo. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Eligibility Criteria: <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- The nominee must be a member of IISE and the SEMS division.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- The nominated course should be part of an industrial engineering or closely related program, emphasizing the integration of engineering and management systems.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- Course materials for which they are being nominated must have been developed and taught by the candidate at least twice over the past 5 years.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- Nominations can come from anywhere in the world, but course materials and nomination documents must be in English.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Nomination Package: <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Nominations may be made by a faculty colleague or a student who has taken the course from the candidate.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>The package must include: <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- Table of contents (up to 2 pages). <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- Letters of support from the nominator and two other individuals; at least one letter should come from a faculty member and one from a student who took the course.

<p class="MsoNormal">- A course syllabus and samples of course materials (up to 20 pages).
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- Curriculum vitae of the candidate. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">- A reflective teaching statement and philosophy by the individual being nominated (1 page).

<p class="MsoNormal">- Summary copies of teaching evaluations (including student comments highlighting the course's impact).
