 features a comprehensive program ranging from introductory tutorials to state-of-the-art research and practice. This year, WSC 2023 establishes a new track "Simulation Around the World" (SATW) whose primary goal is to broaden outreach to researchers in:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent:-.25in">1)<span style="font-size:7.0pt">     
</span>Geographical regions that are historically underrepresented in WSC (e.g., South America and Africa); or<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent:-.25in">2)<span style="font-size:7.0pt">     
</span>Countries where travel is prohibited or challenging due to exceptional national circumstances such as war or disaster but excluding COVID-related restrictions.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">If accepted to the SATW track, registration will be free. In addition, accepted applicants will be able to remotely present their research in one of the SATW sessions and attend
 other sessions in the same track virtually. Presentations will be given in a synchronous hybrid fashion, with live audience participation from in-person attendees of the conference.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">The submission requirements and deadlines are the same as for regular contributed papers or extended abstracts. Additionally, authors will need to provide a short statement of no
 more than 250 words explaining how their submission aligns with the goals of the SATW track. The track committee will review all applications to determine the suitability for the SATW track. Applications will also be reviewed for technical merit following
 the standard review process.<o:p></o:p></p>
