<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal"><span style="color:black">The Department of Supply Chain Management and Analytics (SCMA) in the College of Business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln invites applications for an Assistant
Professor of Practice position. We seek outstanding candidates in all areas of supply chain management, operations management and business analytics. This is a non-tenure leading position, with a teaching load of three or four courses per semester in supply
chain management and/or business analytics, including undergraduate courses, as well as online MBA and/or MS courses. This will be an academic year (nine month) appointment with an August 2023 start date.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal">This is a career-oriented, teaching-focused position. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Assistant Professors of Practice are appointed to three-year terms, with performance reviews conducted
annually, with the opportunity for future multi-year renewals and promotions in rank.

the candidate will be expected to participate, as appropriate, in the governance of the SCMA Department and College of Business, in academic program management, and in a variety of non-class activities such as student advising and curriculum development.<o:p></o:p></p>

</b>Applicants must have: (1) a doctorate in supply chain management, operations management, business analytics, management information systems, or a related field (such as industrial engineering) or will have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. at the
time of appointment; OR (2) a master’s degree, along with significant relevant practical experience in supply chain management, operations management and/or business analytics. Applicants must also demonstrate the potential to teach graduate and/or undergraduate
courses in supply chain management, operations management and/or business analytics.<o:p></o:p></p>

</b>The Department of Supply Chain Management and Analytics consists of 12 tenured and tenure-track faculty, along with two professors of practice. The department is responsible for teaching the College of Business core courses in Operations and Supply Chain
Management and Business Analytics/Information Analysis. The department offers an undergraduate major in supply chain management, as well as a minor in business analytics. At the graduate level, the department teaches courses in the MBA program, and offers
certificates in supply chain management, business analytics and supply chain analytics, as well MS degrees in Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management. The department launched a PhD specialization in Supply Chain Management and Analytics during the 2022-2023
academic year.<o:p></o:p></p>
