thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. Research shows that SBL is among
the most effective ways to learn complex skills across different domains as it
enables knowledge application in a virtual yet realistic environment. 
Moreover, SBL educational experiences can be made available to geographically
dispersed students in support of remote and online learning. All learning
situations are of interest (formal/informal, in-person/distance learning, K-12,
