The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is seeking candidates for an open rank tenure-track faculty position with research interests in the broad area of industrial engineering. We are interested in the research areas of system-level modeling and operations optimization for smart and connected systems, such as healthcare systems and manufacturing systems. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, novel methods and algorithms for decision making and optimization, supply chain modeling and management, healthcare/manufacturing/ service system modeling and operations management, and system improvement through human factors engineering and sociotechnical design.
