We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Summer cohort of the USDA-funded REEU program, AI-enabled Industrial Solutions for Forest Products (AI2F), hosted at Mississippi State University. This USDA-funded program offers an exceptional opportunity for undergraduate students to participate in hands-on research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, sustainable forest-product industries, and real-world problem solving.

Program Highlights

  *   Ten-week immersive research and extension experience focused on addressing real forest-product industry challenges using advanced AI tools
  *   Weekly professional development seminars including research presentations, field visits, technical writing support, communication workshops, and guidance for graduate school preparation
  *    Selected participants will receive a $6,000 support package, which includes a stipend, housing, transportation, and meal allowances
