Dear Colleagues,
SEMS call for abstract deadline extended to November 17, 2025! There’s still time to submit your abstract for the upcoming IISE Annual Conference – Engineering Management Track.
We invite you to submit a 250-word abstract or presentation summary. Accepted abstracts will be published on the conference website as refereed extended abstracts (citable, but not copyrighted or indexed), so they may be reused for other purposes such as journal submissions.
We particularly welcome submissions highlighting international collaboration and applications of emerging technologies and methods.

- Strategic management
- Decision analysis
- Operations and supply chain management
- Manufacturing and service process improvements
- Performance measurement
- Risk management
- Organizational management
- Culture change and management
- Team-based work systems
- Project management
- Discipline standards and dissemination to subcontractors
- Cross-disciplinary coordination and interface management

-Legal issues in engineering management
- Professional ethics and code of conduct
- Engineering management in education
- Process simulation and improvement
- Portfolio management
We also welcome submissions related to:

-The Future of Work Systems and Management

Presentation Formats
- Regular sessions: 15-minute presentations
- Poster sessions: presented during the conference poster forum
- Special sessions: 80-minute formats (panels, workshops, extended talks, competitions, networking).

Optional Full Paper Submissions
- Research papers (up to 6 pages): peer-reviewed, indexed in ProQuest, archival value required.
- Case study papers (2–6 pages): application-focused, reviewed for relevance and lessons learned.
