MODEX Student Day is a premier, interactive networking experience for college, university, trade, technical specialty, and high school students.



In partnership with the College Industry Council on Material Handling Education (CICMHE), Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC), Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA), and the Material Handling Education Foundation (MHEFI), MHI is excited to present an interactive day where you can connect with industry leaders, explore cutting-edge technologies, and discover exciting career paths.



The highlight of the day is the guided tour of the show floor led by industry experts, and the opportunity to meet with exhibiting companies who are looking for future employees. Along with gaining a real-world understanding of the products, services, and technologies that enable the supply chain, students will walk away feeling inspired and empowered with a broader network of professionals who can support their career goals.

Who can attend Student Day?

Student Day is FREE to attend. College, university, trade, technical, specialty, and high school students are all welcome. You must be 16 years and older. A faculty member is required to attend with students under the age of 18. Students are required to dress and act professionally.

Do you offer travel assistance to attend?

MHI and MHEFI will award a limited number of schools with travel grants or school stipends to help offset the cost of travel to MODEX 2026. Funds will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for schools meeting the requirements. Approvals will be communicated by email. Schools located 100+ miles from Atlanta, GA can apply for travel grants of $300 per student, up to 15 students. Schools located under 100 miles from Atlanta, GA will receive a travel stipend of $300 for the school. To qualify for the stipend at least five (5) students must be registered to attend the event.
