Dear Colleagues,

The IISE Doctoral Colloquium Committee is seeking about 6-9 volunteers to serve as judges at the IISE Doctoral Colloquium thesis pitch competition, which will take place on Sunday, June 1st, from 12 to 2pm, during the 2025 IISE Annual Conference at Atlanta. This will be an in-person event.

This opportunity is open to all faculty. It's a great opportunity to contribute to IISE while supporting the PhD students.

Judging responsibilities

Each judge will be assigned to one of three sessions.
  *
Each session will consist of approximately 16 student presentations.
  *
Each student will present their research for up to 3 minutes, followed by 2 minutes Q&A, and a short break to record scores.
  *
If judges wish to view the presentation slides prior to the competition, these will be made available.

Winners of the competition will be announced at the CIEADH meeting on Monday, June 2nd.
