The Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Miami invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track position at the assistant or associate professor levels starting in January 2026. Preference will be given to individuals with productive and active research experience in data analytics, machine learning, statistics, operations research, advanced manufacturing, and human-machine interfaces (HMI). We welcome applicants with a commitment to impactful research and teaching excellence.



The successful candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or closely related disciplines and demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and service with a commitment to mentoring students and fostering an inclusive academic environment. The selected candidate will be expected to teach classes at the undergraduate and graduate level.
