Hi everyone,
I am very pleased to announce that the search committee for the next EIC of INFORMS Journal on Computing has made a decision and this has been fully formalized through the INFORMS Board and then accepted by the candidate.  The new Editor in Chief, effective January 1, 2026, is Andrea Lodi.  Andrea has served as the Area Editor for the most voluminous (by submissions) area - Discrete - for nearly seven years.  He has a distinguished record in scholarly publishing and his own work admirably bridges both OR and computation.  His brief biography is below.  The search committee was ably chaired by Dave Woodruff, previous EIC of the journal, and was represented by those both within the journal and beyond.  Much appreciation to Dave and to the other committee members for their thoughtful work.  Congratulations to Andrea, and to everyone involved  for a smooth transition to a new EIC and a bright future for the continued success of the journal.
