Dear Colleagues,

Effective immediately, we have set up a new Google sheet for advertising openings for new PhD students for the coming academic year.  Thanks to Brad Kramer at Kansas State for initiating this effort and managing it for several years.

Along with putting the sheet in an Iowa State University workspace, we have built a convenient Google form to populate it.  Here are three requests:

  1.  Save this email.  It has also been sent to the CIEADH list for sharing with admins, search committee chairs, etc.
  2.  Forward the link to the Google sheet to your PhD students.  Anyone with the link can view and download it.  Department chairs/heads may already have done this.
  3.  If possible, check the sheet to see whether your opportunity is already on it and, if not, use the form to add it.

We will continue to check that positions emailed the CEIADH or iefac list have made it onto the sheet.  But the hope is that the sheet will reduce some inbox clutter and "apologies for cross-postings."
