[IISE Faculty List] Call for Session Chairs – Quality, Statistics, and Reliability (QSR) Cluster of 2024 INFORMS Annual Meeting

The Quality, Statistics, and Reliability (QSR) Section of INFORMS invites you to organize and chair sessions for the 2024 INFORMS Annual Meeting, which is scheduled to be held in Seattle, WA from October 20-23, 2024. We encourage proposals that range over theories, applications, and methodologies of QSR in addressing relevant issues of research and practice.

We welcome anyone who is interested to chair a session, including students, faculty, and industry/nonprofit professionals. As session chair, you will be responsible for inviting 4-5 speakers to give a 15-minute presentation each, in a 75-minute session. Note that INFORMS restricts each speaker to only ONE presentation (exceptions are panels, awards, and posters).

  *   April 16: Deadline for session chair identification
  *   May 1: Deadline for session chairs to enter presenters
  *   May 15: Deadline for presenters to submit abstract
  *   August 1: Speaker registration deadline
  *   August 21: Abstract editing deadline
  *   August 31: Early registration deadline
