IISE New Faculty Colloquium 2024

The Council of Industrial Engineering Academic Department Heads (CIEADH) and the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE) request nominations for the 22nd Annual New Faculty Colloquium to be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, prior to the IISE Annual Conference and Expo. This all-day event is designed for new, early-career IISE faculty, especially those in their first three years of a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment.  We also invite the participation of incoming faculty members that will start their positions in Fall 2024. The colloquium provides information that can be useful for navigating the challenges of an academic career and gaining tenure and promotion.

Meals (continental breakfast, lunch, and reception) are provided during the program. There is a $50 fee per person for this event. All expenses incurred (including registration for the Annual IISE Conference) are the responsibility of the nominee or the nominating department. Attendees must register separately for the IISE Annual Conference. All nominations must be made by department heads/chairs. Nomination materials include (i) a statement from the chair (in an email) indicating the name(s) of the nominee(s) and their contact information; and (ii) a current curriculum vitae for each nominee.
