[IISE Faculty List] Lecturer Position - SJSU: Engineering Extended Studies

The Engineering Extended Studies at San Jose State University is seeking
applications for a Lecturer position to teach Advanced Operation Planning
and Control in Summer 2024, from June to August.

Responsibilities include:

   - Teaching within the Engineering Extended Studies program, focusing on
   the design, implementation, and evaluation of production and service
   systems.
   - Covering topics such as manufacturing strategy, choice of processes,
   resource planning, production and procurement control, scheduling
   considerations, and decision-making techniques.
   - Conducting classes in accordance with program calendars and being
   flexible with course assignments and teaching times based on program needs.
   - The course duration is 11 weeks, with 4 hours of instruction per week.
   - Assisting with other duties related to teaching and mentoring
   students, as required.

Education
Candidates for the position must hold a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or
a closely related field by the position start date. Evidence of teaching
effectiveness is preferred.
