Dear colleagues:

It is with a heavy heart that I am sharing the obituary of Roman Hlutkowsky who passed away yesterday.  Roman was a passionate industrial engineer, a former President of IISE, a senior leader at FedEx Ground, a long-time Chairman of the Visiting Committee at Pitt IE, and most of all a warm friend and caring mentor. To many of us who knew him well,  he was a wonderful human being. He would brighten up a room the instant he walked in.  He was positive, direct and a true leader.  Roman was special, and I will all miss him very much.. as will many of us..  Below is the link to his obituary:
