         1) Although it's somewhat late, I wanted to let you know about
some papers in the March issue with coauthors who have backgrounds in
industrial and systems engineering:

Manuel Nunez at University of Connecticut is a coauthor of "A Decision
Theoretic Foundation for Noise Traders and Correlated Speculation."

Robin Dillon-Merrill at Georgetown is a coauthor of "Partitioning the
Expected Value of Countermeasures with an Application to Terrorism."

Forough Pourhoussein at University of Delaware and Steven Shechter at
University of British Columbia are among the coauthors of "Assortment
Planning with Satisficing Customers."

I also wrote a brief editorial celebrating the 20th anniversary of the
journal, "Trends in/Decision Analysis/: A Reflection on the First 20
Years of the Journal."

         2) The best-paper award winner from 2023 has an engineer
coauthor: Gordon Hazen, professor emeritus at Northwestern University,
is a coauthor of "Information Density in Decision Analysis."
Congratulations, Gordy!

The runner-up paper was also written by system engineers: Roger Chapman
Burk of West Point and Richard Nehring of Nucor wrote "An Empirical
Comparison of Rank-Based Surrogate Weights in Additive Multiattribute
Decision Analysis."

         3) If any of you have papers that fit the focus of the journal
(https://nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpubsonline.informs.org%2Fdoi%2F10.1287%2Fdeca.2020.0408&data=05%7C02%7Ciefac.list%40mailhost.ces.clemson.edu%7Cccdc650e700645f0d0c408dc85a75e79%7C0c9bf8f6ccad4b87818d49026938aa97%7C0%7C0%7C638532201098374323%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=%2BkUFCfmAPto59h%2FsUE%2FpSzMBT%2F5hD0NqXDN%2FaMuBsXI%3D&reserved=0), I would
encourage you to submit.  We have a short time to first review!  Feel
free to contact me with any inquiries.
