Lecturer in Business Analytics



The Operations & Information Management (OIM) Department of the Isenberg School of Management invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position, non-tenure track, in Business Analytics to start in February 2024 or September 2024.



The initial appointment will be for two years, with renewal based on performance. The Lecturer will join a team of faculty noted for excellence and innovation in undergraduate and graduate education. The successful candidate will work with faculty and advising staff to assess student outcomes and foster student success.



Candidates must have a doctoral degree from an accredited institution of higher education by September 1, 2024 in an area such as Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline. This full-time position requires teaching six course sections per academic year, plus providing departmental service. Teaching responsibilities include multiple graduate level sections of the courses Business Application Development with Python, Data Science for Business, and other courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels as needed. Expertise in computer programming with Python and other open-source tools, applied statistics, and machine learning is desired. Demonstrated ability, or potential, to teach business analytics at the undergraduate and graduate levels in face-to-face and distance education formats is required.
