The School of Science and Engineering is currently expanding its engineering offerings to include environmental, general, systems, and mechanical engineering, in addition to its ABET accredited biomedical engineering program. We are currently seeking faculty, for a 9-month, tenure-track, position in the area of systems engineering or a related engineering field with a flexible start date no later than August 2024. Faculty joining this new program will have a unique opportunity to help shape and build the program. All levels of faculty will be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. with a focus in systems engineering or a closely related discipline
Ability and commitment to pursue an independent and externally funded research agenda
Demonstrated ability to teach and provide supportive mentorship to students at the undergraduate level
The successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination of experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the essential job functions.
