[IISE Faculty List] Call for nominations: IISE Future Faculty Fellows (3F) Program 2023-2024 -EXTENDED

Dear Colleagues,


The IISE Technical Operations Board (TOB), in partnership with the Council of Industrial Engineering Academic Department Heads (CIEADH), is seeking nominations for the Future Faculty Fellows (3F) Program. The yearlong 3F program is designed to give ISE PhD students the opportunity to explore and prepare for a faculty position in academia. Our goal is for the program participants to develop an understanding of the academic job market and successfully prepare their first faculty positions. These Fellows will be required to participate monthly seminars. In addition, they will be paired with a faculty mentor to have regular one-on-one meetings. The program will culminate with an event at the 2024 IISE Annual Conference. Senior PhD students (anticipated to graduate within 1-2 years) who are IISE members are eligible to be nominated for this program by their faculty advisors or department head/chair. In this year, we will select a cohort of 15 participants to begin in Fall 2023.

**If you are an advisor of a senior PhD student or an ISE department head/chair, please strongly consider nominating your student by September 18, 2023. The nomination form is attached.**

We are also seeking faculty mentors who will be paired with the student Fellows. If you are a current or past department head/chair or a senior ISE faculty, please strongly consider volunteering. Investing in these PhD students will help create the next generation of well-prepared and motivated faculty to advance and lead the growth of the ISE profession and IISE. As a mentor you will be expected to commit 1 hr/month with your Fellow. **Please email me (msarder at bgsu.edu<mailto:msarder at bgsu.edu>) by September 18, 2023 if you are interested in serving as a mentor.**
