The 15th International Conference On Digital Human Modeling And
Applications In Health, Safety, Ergonomics And Risk Management
<https://2024.hci.international/DHM>in affiliated with HCII2024 will take
place at the Washington Hilton Hotel, Washington DC, USA, 29 June - 4 July
2024.

HCII2024 will run as a *'hybrid'* conference. The first three days of the
conference (29 June - 1 July) will comprise *'virtual only'* parallel
sessions for paper presentations with remote only participation and
*‘in-person’
only* satellite events. The Opening Plenary Session (1 July) and the
parallel sessions that will take place between 2 and 4 July will run as
*hybrid* events (i.e. allowing both *'in-person'* and *remote
participation* options
for presenters and participants).

On behalf of program board, you are cordially invited to consider
submitting a paper proposal to the session entitled *"The fusion of Digital
Human Models (DHMs) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in
transformative solutions".*

This session, will be scheduled to take place between *29 June - 1 July* as
a *virtual only* event, in the context of the 15th International Conference
on Digital Human Modeling and Applications in Health, Safety, Ergonomics
and Risk Management, an affiliated conference of HCII 2024, with Vincent
Duffy, as Program Chair.

*Session Description*
In this session, we will delve into the power of Digital Human Models,
advanced simulations, and AI algorithms in addressing critical concerns
related to productivity, worker well-being, and workplace safety. Our
esteemed speakers will share insights from the following aspects:
• Discover the role of AI in enhancing DHMs by enabling predictive
modeling, personalized recommendations, etc., to address safety and human
factor issues effectively.
• Learn how AI-powered DHMs assist in identifying potential ergonomic risks
and provide data-driven insights for proactive risk mitigation.
• Explore the utilization of DHMs and AI for optimizing workplace design to
enhance worker comfort and efficiency.
• Understand the synergy between DHMs and AI in the context of human-AI
interaction, ensuring the safe and efficient coexistence of humans and
automation.
• Explore real-world applications of DHMs and AI in diverse industries,
such as manufacturing and healthcare, which are paving the way for
transformative solutions.

Your paper will appear in the Conference Proceedings
<https://2024.hci.international/proceedings> to be published by Springer in
a multi-volume set.

*Important deadlines*
*Wednesday, 20th December 2023:* Submit your abstract (800 words) through
the CMS, for the review process
*Saturday, 13th January 2024:* Notification of review outcome from the
session organizer
*2nd February 2024:* Submit the camera-ready version of your paper through
the CMS

*IMPORTANT NOTE:* In order to provide a greater opportunity for more people
to present at the Conference, multiple submissions by single authors or by
the same author with multiple accounts cannot be accepted. Co-authors may
appear on multiple papers, but each accepted paper, or poster, with
multiple co-authors should have a different Conference registrant. For
paper presentation at the Conference and inclusion of the full paper in the
Proceedings, one registration per submission is required by 16 February
2024.
