I would like to request your assistance.  If you have advised students on
research who have graduated and joined positions in industry, non-profits,
or governmental agencies in the last ten years, would you please forward
the below email to them if relevant?  Or if you graduated in the last ten
years or so, please consider forwarding this to people in your network who
attended graduate school with you who may be interested. This is especially
relevant for ones who have interests that might relate to the INFORMS
professional society.

*Early Career Researchers:*
A group who is currently or formerly affiliated with INFORMS is working on
establishing a new forum for "Early Career Researchers in Industry,
Government, and Beyond".  Organizers include participants from Amazon,
General Motors, the Applied Physics Laboratory, and others.

Our mission is to empower and support the next generation of analytics,
operations research, and management science researchers as they embark on
their professional journeys. We are committed to fostering a vibrant
community that equips early career (1-10 years of experience) PhD or MS
graduates with the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to thrive in
their research in industry, government, and beyond.

to find out more about this or other activities, please indicate your
interest.
