Hello All,

As I am the Board liaison to the INFORMS DEI Committee, I'm happy to share
with you that INFORMS is hosting a great session.  This is based on a
report from the National Academies about professional organizations.

If you can make it, please do.  It has relevance not only for members of
INFORMS, but also for other professional organizations like IISE, ASME,
SIAM, HFE, and others. Please share this with your faculty and students.

This is part one of a three-part webinar series discussing the new report
on DEI in STEMM organizations created by the National Academies.   The
first webinar will be moderated by Dr. Pinar Keskinocak on October 3rd
12:00noon EDT.  During the webinar, we will delve into key aspects of the
report, including the historical context of racism in the U.S., demographic
insights, the experiences of underrepresented individuals, and the
leadership's role in fostering inclusivity. Join us for an enlightening and
informative discussion with panelists Dr. Emily Vargas, Dr. Michael P.
Johnson, and Dr. Cole Smith.
