Colleagues,

I hope this message finds you well. As I mentioned last month, the size of
our department has almost tripled within the last decade given an
aggressive growth and retention plan. I am writing to share that we are
again hiring – this time for four (4) more roles at the Associate-Full
Professor level (in addition to the 4 Assistant Professor positions
announced in October), making a total of eight (8) new tenure-track faculty
positions. These are all new additions to our department and we could use
your assistance in distributing this announcement widely. These positions
have a start date of Spring or Fall 2024 (with the Associate and Full
Professor roles starting in Fall 2024 only).

These additional positions, which represent a record hiring year for us,
are a result of significant growth in our research expenditures ($8.5-12
Million annually) and graduate program size. With a current size of 33
tenured/tenure-track professors, we are extremely excited to welcome so
many more bright new minds to join our faculty! Please help spread the word
about these 8 new additional lines in the areas of: 1) energy systems, 2)
health systems, 3) systems science, 4) energy storage, 5) energy systems
and policy, 6) flexible, additive and hybrid electronic systems, 7)
semiconductor manufacturing, and 8) nanofabrication. More details can be
found below and attached.
