Some additional notes: They welcome applicants from all nationalities.  A candidate does not need to speak Korean language.  In KASIT, all courses and educational activities use English.  They currently have international faculty members (non-Korean).

I am Taesik Lee, the head of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at KAIST. I am writing to you to cordially ask for your assistance in our search for highly qualified faculty candidates to join our department. We would greatly appreciate it if you could pass along the attached position announcement to prospective candidates.

Our department hosts one undergraduate program for Industrial & Systems Engineering degree and two graduate programs, offering advanced degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering and Data Science. To respond to the rapidly growing demand for research and education in these fields, we are proactively expanding the size of the faculty in the department over the next few years.

Currently, we have several open tenure-track faculty positions across various areas within industrial engineering and data science. These areas of interest include, but are not limited to, smart manufacturing/production systems, optimization and simulation, data science methodologies and applications, and human-centered engineering.
