Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to inform you that the 2022 Impact Factor has been released
and increased to 7.90 (2021 IF = 7.18).The journal now ranks 17 out of 110
(Q1) in the Computer Science category and 10 out of 50 (Q1) in the
Engineering Industrial category. Also, the cite score has increased to11.9
from 9.7. I encourage you to visit Computers & Industrial Engineering -
Journal - Elsevier

to also explore the top papers that are downloaded and cited, and the
state-of-art special issue topics that the journal is currently hosting. I
hope you consider CAIE as a source to disseminate your research.
It is also not too late to submit your paper for the 50th International
Conference on Computers & Industrial Engineering (CIE 50), to be held at
American University of Sharjah: Dubai, UAE during October 30- November 2
2023. Please check the conference website, *https://info.aus.edu/cie50*

submission and registration. The proceedings of the conference are indexed
as ISSN 2164-8670 for CD-ROM and ISSN 2164-8689 for Online. Extended
versions of some selected papers will be published in a special issue of
Computers and Industrial Engineering following the rigorous review process
of the journal. This should be a special conference as this is the golden
anniversary of the CIE conference series and we hope to see you there.
