Special Issue on: "Progress in Smart Manufacturing"

This special issue aims to bring researchers together to discuss the latest progress in smart manufacturing.
Therefore, we invite the submission of high-quality research articles related to smart manufacturing
approaches using physics-based learning, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.

Subject Coverage

Suitable topics include, but are not limited, to the following:
* Methods of artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing
* Machine learning techniques and metrics for intelligent manufacturing
* Big data analytics in manufacturing
* Neural networks and applications for manufacturing automation
* Application of artificial intelligence in transportation, energy, bioengineering, etc
* Machine learning for manufacturing system optimisation
* ML and AI in human-robot collaborative manufacturing
* ML and AI for process monitoring, diagnostics, prognostics
* ML and AI for manufacturing process control
* ML and AI applications in smart maintenance
* ML and AI in product lifecycle management
* Physics-informed sustainable manufacturing

Notes for Prospective Authors

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for
publication elsewhere. (N.B. Conference papers may only be submitted if the paper has been completely rewritten
and if appropriate written permissions have been obtained from any copyright holders of the original
paper).

All papers are refereed through a peer review process.
