K-State seeks a dynamic and engaging faculty member who wants to focus their career on teaching and advising undergraduate and Master's level graduate students. This is a strategically important position in a land-grant institution. The position is a nine-month, non-tenure track Teaching Professor at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. It is Not a temporary position.
The focus of this position will be to develop and deliver high-quality, undergraduate and graduate courses that support the K-State Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering ( https://imse.k-state.edu ). The successful candidate will be able to teach a broad range of industrial engineering courses to support our ABET accredited B.S. in Industrial Engineering degree and our online Master of Engineering Management and Master of Science in Operations Research programs. The preferred candidate will have relevant industrial and/or academic experience. Candidates with expertise and experience in data science/analytics/decision-making/operations research fields are preferred.

What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or related field
* Qualifications to join the K-State Graduate faculty.
Preferred Qualifications:
* B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering
* Engineering Teaching Experience
* Online Teaching Experience
* Relevant industrial experience
* Willingness to serve the department, institution, and profession through active participation in committees and professional societies.
Other Requirements:
* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
