[Iefac.list] Save the date (Monday, April 17, 2023) for the 6th Andrew P. Sage Memorial Design Competition (SMDC 2023) in Fairfax, VA

Dear Professor,

Hope your semester is going well.

The 5th Sage Conference in April 2022 was a great success. Over 200 students from 9 universities participated in the competition. Fifty (50) student teams presented their outstanding capstone project work in the competition. Nice (9) Best Papers and 9 Honorable Mentions were selected for prizes and recognitions.

We will continue to host the competition for Systems Engineering, Operations Research and Data Analytics undergrad seniors and graduate students for their capstone projects in 2023. This time, we are planning to conduct the conference in Fairfax, VA on Monday, April 17, 2023. We will also provide access to join remotely for participants who cannot travel to our campus. More details about the conference will come in a month or two but if you can communicate to your capstone program coordinators and students to save the date for the 6th Andrew Sage Design Competition, that will be greatly appreciated.

We look forward to having your student teams joining us on April 17, 2023.
