The Department of Industrial, Manufacturing & Systems Engineering at Texas Tech University is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Research Position. The Postdoctoral Researcher will conduct research under the supervision of Dr. Bryan A. Norman focused on healthcare delivery and logistics. The work will include modeling and methodological development, application of models to data from collaborating partners, and direct engagement with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff.
The appointment is for a one-year term that can potentially be extended. The planned start date is September 1, 2022 but can begin as early as summer 2022. Application review will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Qualifications for the position include the following:

  *   Ph.D. (completed prior to the start of the Postdoctoral Researcher appointment) in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  *   Strong modeling and methodological skills.
  *   Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with healthcare providers.
  *   Healthcare domain knowledge is preferred.
