[Iefac.list] Call for Session Chairs – ENRE/Energy & Climate, INFORMS 2022 Annual Meeting

Dear Colleagues,



We are organizing a cluster of sessions for the ENRE/Energy & Climate section of the INFORMS 2022 Annual Meeting<https://meetings.informs.org/wordpress/indianapolis2022/>in Indianapolis, IN, to be held from October 16-19, 2022.  All areas of optimization, simulation, data analytics, AI/ML and risk and decision analysis are welcome, with applications related to Energy and/or Climate.



If you are interested in chairing a session, please email me with a tentative session title by Monday, March 14.

2022 INFORMS Annual Meeting deadlines for Session Chairs:

  *   March 14: Deadline for volunteering to chair a session
  *   May 2: Deadline for session chairs to invite presenters
  *   May 16: Deadline for presenters to submit abstracts

INFORMS rules for sessions:

  1.  Each session chair should invite 4 speakers to give regular talks (~15-20 minutes each), as well as 1 flash talk (5 minutes).

  2.  Each speaker can present only one talk (i.e. one regular talk, or one flash talk).
