Dear Colleagues,



It is my honor to have been appointed as the next editor-in-chief of
Computers and Industrial Engineering (CAIE) after 25 years of service from
Dr. Mohamed Dessouky.  Because of his efforts and numerous other editorial
team members, CAIE has seen its impact factor increase from .117 in 1997 to
a current score of 5.431 and a cite score of 7.9. I look forward to
continuing making CAIE a prominent outlet for researchers to publish their
