[Iefac.list] Call for Nominations for IISE Energy Systems Division Board Directors

Dear colleagues,

The Energy Systems (ES) Division is calling for nominations for two board directors whose terms will begin on June 1, 2022, with a two-year commitment.  Nominees must be a current IISE member and an ES Division member. If you are a current IISE member, you can choose to be an ES Division member for free. Self-nomination is welcome!

The vision of the ES Division is to become the premier division for researchers and practitioners committed to advancing excellence in innovative modeling and exploring industrial and systems engineering tools for energy systems.  Main responsibilities of the division board director include: i) attending division board meeting, ii) organizing division actives (e.g., leading awards committee and scheduling division presentations) in IISE Annual conference, and iii) participating in other division activities (e.g., division newsletters and division webinars).

ES Division currently has four great board directors, and they are Assistant Professor Ahmed Aziz Ezzat at Rutgers University – New Brunswick, Assistant Professor Benjamin D. Leibowicz at University of Texas – Austin, Associate Professor Ekundayo Shittu at George Washington University, and Associate Professor Pingfeng Wang at University of Illinois Urbana – Champaign.
