HFES Computer Systems Technical Group (CSTG) - 2022 Marc Resnick Best Paper Award
The Computer Systems Technical Group (CSTG) of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society works to ensure that all users of computer systems are able to accomplish their goals while enjoying a satisfying experience. Our professionals and academicians are human-computer interaction experts involved in research, education, consulting, and product design and evaluation. CSTG membership created an Annual Best Paper Award (Marc Resnick Best Paper Award) to be given to the best Computer Systems Technical Group submission at the 2022 HFES Annual meeting. Marc Resnick Best Paper Award is presented to authors whose work represents groundbreaking work in the area of human-computer interaction. By recognizing these select papers for their ingenuity and importance, HFES CSTG highlights some of the theoretical and practical innovations that are likely to shape the future of human-computer interaction.
Each year, the Program Chairs of Computers Systems Technical Group and Internet Technical Group will send the five highest-reviewed CSTG papers to a special selection committee. These are discussed and reviewed by the selection committee. Membership on this selection committee is limited to those who have no conflict of interest with the shortlisted papers, as defined by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society's Conflict of Interest Policy. The award (constituting of a plaque and $1,000 check) will be presented at the Technical Group business meeting during the conference.
You need to submit your paper to the Computer Systems Technical Group to be considered for this award and for the opportunity to present your latest research, practice, or theoretical findings to a diverse, international audience at the 66th Annual Meeting, to be held October 10 - 14, 2022, in Atlanta, Georgia. The following link provides details on paper submission. https://ssl.linklings.net/conferences/HFESAM/
Please reach out to Dr. Kapil Chalil Madathil (kmadath at clemson.edu<mailto:kmadath at clemson.edu>), should you have any questions on this award.
We look forward to receiving your proposal and seeing you at the 2022 HFES 66th International Annual Meeting!
