[IISE Faculty List] NC State Interdisciplinary Hiring Initiative

NC State University recently announced an exciting new *five-faculty
interdisciplinary hiring initiative* focused on *Translational Predictive
Biology*. One of these positions is open-ranked and part of the Chancellor's
Faculty Excellence Program for which we are seeking candidates with
expertise in developing innovative approaches to improve multi-modal data
integration and fusion, mathematical modeling, and machine
learning/artificial intelligence for applications in multi-omics

This is in addition to the faculty position(s) in the Edward P. Fitts
Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering for which we are seeking
candidates with expertise in 1) advanced manufacturing (especially
automation & robotics, digital & smart manufacturing); 2) optimization or
data science (methodologically strong, any applications that relate broadly
to ISE); 3) emerging or traditional areas of ISE (e.g., artificial
intelligence, interface of health and environment, sustainability and
supply chains, humans and technology, health analytics). See
