Dear Colleagues,


Please find the following call for nomination and feel free to nominate a student.

Students are the future of the ISE profession and IISE. Today’s students will be the future professional members of IISE and lead the institute in the next level. To help prepare our next generation leaders, IISE Technical Operations Board (TOB) is excited to invite nominations for the 2022-23 student leadership board (SLB). This board will consist of 8-10 students (undergraduate and graduate), who will take on specific roles and responsibilities to help forward TOB’s strategic objectives. Under the supervision of TOB leaders, the SLB will meet on a regular basis to discuss issues/needs, develop ideas, and pursue specific projects to promote and advance IISE’s mission.

We encourage you to take on these national level leadership positions and serve as the voice of all IISE student members. The unique experience in serving on the SLB will provide you the opportunity to interact with professional leaders and shape the future of IISE.

If you are an undergraduate (junior or senior) or a graduate (Masters or PhD) IISE student member interested in serving on the SLB (August 2022 – May 2023) please submit a statement of interest (max 1 page), resume, and a nomination letter (max 2 pages) from your faculty advisor to MD Sarder at msarder at bgsu.edu<mailto:msarder at bgsu.edu> by September 15, 2022.
