Call for judges for IISE Doctoral Colloquium Poster Pitch

The Council of Industrial Engineering Academic Department Heads (CIEADH) is organizing a doctoral colloquium and poster pitch competition to be held at the IISE Annual Conference.

The organizing committee is looking for volunteers to serve as judges at the IISE Doctoral Colloquium Poster Pitch, to be held Sun. May 23, 3:00 - 5:00 (EDT).

This is a nice opportunity to serve IISE and to encourage our graduating students.

Judging responsibilities

  *   Each judge will be assigned to one of several virtual sessions.
  *   Each session will consist of approximately 10 student presentations.
  *   Each student will present their research for up to 4 minutes (4 slide maximum), followed by 4 minutes of Q&A, and a 2-minute break.
  *   Judges will submit scores via an online survey platform. This can be done during or after the presentations.
  *   If judges wish to view the presentation slides prior to the poster pitch, these will be made available.
  *   Winners will be announced at the CIEADH meeting on Monday.
