Dear Colleagues:
In the editorial board meeting during the 2020 IISE Annual Conference, the editorial board members decided to conduct a survey. The purpose is to understand how colleagues in our profession, i.e., the authors, contributors, and readers, view IISE Transactions as a publication outlet, and whether they have ideas or suggestions for improving the quality and reputation of IISE Transactions. You can access the survey through the following link. The survey will be available through Friday, February 5, 2021.

Under the leadership of past EICs, and with the hard work of the entire editorial board, IISE Transactions has adapted to a changing research landscape and has solidified its position as the premier publication outlet for industrial and systems engineers. However, there are areas where IISE Transactions can and should improve, from submission, to content, to review process, and to citations.
We will rely on the collective wisdom of our colleagues to craft a strategy and plan for improving the journal. We understand you are very busy, but we would appreciate your participation in this important survey. Completing the survey will take about 10-15 minutes of your precious time, and your participation is important and crucial to our mission. We greatly appreciate your valuable feedback and thank you ahead of time for your participation.
