Dear Colleagues,
We are calling for nominations for the Wellington award, the Engineering Economy (EE) Division Teaching Award, and the Industry Practitioner Award.
The Wellington Award recognizes outstanding long-term contributions and service in the field of engineering economy that enhance the visibility of the engineering economy division of IISE. Individuals that have made significant contributions to the field of engineering economy are encouraged to apply for the Wellington Award. Nominations are due by February 10, 2021. The Teaching Award recognizes and promotes the outstanding teaching of Engineering Economy. The candidate must be a member of IISE. The course for which he/she is being recognized must be an engineering economy course within an engineering or similar program. A faculty colleague, a student who has taken the course from the candidate or himself/herself, may make nominations. Nominations are due February 10, 2021. The Industry Practitioner Award recognizes excellence in industry practice of engineering economy (EE) concepts. The objectives of the award are to show appreciation to the industry practitioners of IISE who are outstanding in implementing EE concepts and techniques, as well as encourage practitioners, via recognition possibility, to raise standards in the practice and dissemination of EE concepts in engineering. The candidate must be a member of the EE division. The applied case/project for which he/she is being recognized must make a considerable contribution to the EE practice.
