  *   making a positive difference in the lives of working people
Ohio State University offers a Master’s degree program in Industrial & Systems Engineering with a specialization in Occupational Safety and Ergonomics.  Our graduates work  in manufacturing (including consumer products, aerospace, transportation, heavy industry), research and testing, civil service, healthcare, and academia.

Learning experiences throughout our program include course work in occupational health & safety, ergonomics, cognitive engineering, biomechanics, and related topics, as well as hands-on research activities, an applied practicum, and internship.

Traineeships that provide tuition support and a stipend are offered to a limited number of full‐time students; qualifications are based on academic record and US residency restrictions.   Other forms of support may be available for those who do not meet these restrictions.
