Dear colleagues,

The School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University has multiple 
tenure track/tenured faculty positions available in the following areas: 
i) methodologies and computational methods in operations research, 
including machine learning and artificial intelligence; stochastic 
optimization; high dimensional statistics and learning; parallel and 
distributed computing and architectures, ii) production systems, 
including digital transformation of supply chains; Internet-of-Things 
enabled factories; cyber-physical production environments, and iii) 
systems science, including complex systems; human-in-the-loop systems; 
innovation ecosystems.

Through this advertisement, we invite applications at all ranks,  
Assistant, Associate or Named and/or Distinguished Full Professor, with 
interests and expertise in the above areas. Successful candidates must 
hold a Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering, operations research, 
engineering, computer science, statistics, or a related field.  The 
successful candidate will conduct original research, advise graduate 
students, teach undergraduate and graduate level courses, and perform 
service both at the School and the University levels.

New faculty members will become part of a vibrant community of scholars 
who are committed to Rethinking IE and helping guide the profession to 
impact societal grand challenges of the 21st century. The School of 
Industrial Engineering at Purdue University is making significant 
investments in advancing the frontiers of next generation information 
engineering and data analytics, systems science, cognition and 
decision-making, and manufacturing of products and services.
