[Iefac.list] MOPTA 2020 Postponed to 2021

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Hope you are doing well and that you and your loved ones are safe and
healthy.

After carefully monitoring the COVID-19 epidemic over the last couple of
months and discussing with the rest of the MOPTA organizing committee and
university officials, *we have decided that the best and only responsible
course of action is to postpone MOPTA 2020 to August 2021*. This was by no
means an easy decision. *The tentative date for MOPTA 2021 is August 2-4,
2021*.

The MOPTA-AIMMS competition will proceed as planned but will be virtual.
The finalists will be contacted in the next couple of weeks and
presentations will be on-line and made freely available.
