The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering and the College of Engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University invites applications and nominations for the Assistant Professor in Industrial and Systems Engineering position(s) in the College of Engineering.
The successful candidate(s) will establish and sustain a strong research enterprise and bring pedagogical skills to teach in areas relevant to Industrial and Systems Engineering in a manner that facilitates intellectual development and student success in engineering. Supervising and advising of graduate and undergraduate projects; as well as graduate theses and dissertations is required. The position will specifically contribute to the systems engineering and/or data-driven modeling and analysis of complex system efforts within the department. This is a 9 month tenure track position.

North Carolina A & T State University is a public land grant university. The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is responsible for implementing and assessing its nationally ranked and accredited programs in Industrial and Systems Engineering. The department offers BS, MS, and PhD programs. The ISE department has approximately 140 undergraduate students and 60 graduate students (MS and PhD). The ISE program has 12 full-time faculty, 2 part-time faculty, and 3 staff members.
