We are looking for a data scientist to fill an immediate post-doc position
in the Department of Health Informatics and Data Science and the Center for
Health Outcomes and Informatics Research (CHOIR) at Loyola University
Chicago. This opportunity fits best to recent PhD graduates and graduating
PhD students in health Informatics, computer science, industrial
engineering, or other related fields. The selected candidate will join
collaborative projects with top nation's hospitals and universities.



The main expectations are: 1) to develop prediction models using machine
learning and/or natural language processing algorithms for advancing
current healthcare practice; 2) to contribute in writing grant proposals;
and 3) to publish in and present at top medical informatics journals and
