The Systems and Industrial Engineering (SIE) Department at the University of Arizona invites applications and nominations for two tenure-track positions with an anticipated start date of August 2021:

  *   One position (Assistant or Associate level) in the areas of (1) Trustworthy AI-based and ML-based Systems, (2) Human AI Interaction, and (3) High Performance Computing and Optimization. The recruiting committee for this position is chaired by Pavlo Krokhmal.
  *   One position (Assistant or Associate level) in the areas of (1) Software Assurance, (2) Formal Methods for Complex Systems, and (3) Model-based Systems Engineering including Model-driven Architecture and Engineering. The recruiting committee for this position is chaired by Ricardo Valerdi.
