Virginia State University, is recently funded by NASA on Friction Stir Welding (FSW). This project is collaborating with a senior faculty at Old Dominion University (ODU). We are looking for a Postdoc Research Associate with skills in FSW, Manufacturing Processes, Material Science and Engineering, data analytics, and/or FEA to help in the NASA project. The project can support the postdoc up to 2 years with very competitive salary and benefit. VSU owns outstanding facility on FSW machine and SEM etc. The collaboration with ODU and NASA builds a very good platform for the postdoc to grow for the future career.
