The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering & Technology at
Bradley University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position
at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting Fall 2020. Applicants must
have an earned Ph.D. degree and an undergraduate degree in industrial
engineering or a closely related field. ABD (all but dissertation)
applicants will also be considered, but must finish all Ph.D. degree
requirements before the employment date.
The position requires teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses;
skills in the following areas are desired: supply chain management, data
analytics and simulation; teaching online and experiential learning.
Experiences in teaching, research and industry are preferred.
Initial screening will commence on November 15, 2019. To ensure full
consideration, applications should be received by January 20, 2020.
However, applications may be accepted until the position is filled.
Applicants must submit a cover letter, a current C. V., a statement that
details the plans for teaching and research in a primarily undergraduate
institution that emphasizes student engagement and business engineering
convergence, and a list of at least three references with their full
contact information. Applicants with teaching experience are encouraged to
provide a list of the courses taught and a summary of teaching evaluations.

The Department of Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering & Technology is
housed in the Caterpillar College of Engineering & Technology, which has
been continually ranked in the top 30 undergraduate engineering programs by
