I am writing to request your participation in a proposed special session on the topic of "Interactive Optimization" at the forthcoming inaugural IEEE International Conference on Human Machine Systems (HMS), to be held in Rome, Italy from 06 to 08 April 2020. Full information on the conference is here: https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__ichms.dimes.unical.it_&d=DwIFaQ&c=Ngd-ta5yRYsqeUsEDgxhcqsYYY1Xs5ogLxWPA_2Wlc4&r=Ue5eprQ_fMYcavWXDDYHbKQI0IFAmpjoy6QR5xcYCC4Qd5ukwoooDHsBFMkK-u0r&m=1ipVi4aKLBNb8XkFKT7zAQ6rQxaMBe5TEwojZhg3Ceo&s=Ksp3d0zLdHr_vw_4Vp3GLdWGBPB0Db8E8DDxD9rgO84&e=
Our intention is to hold a paper-based session which addresses the latest research (and emerging challenges) in this important area. We are open to conceptual, methodological and empirical papers, as well as more applied work--particularly if it raises fundamental challenges for research.
Submissions are welcome in the form of full papers (6p.) or short papers (4p.) or posters (3p.). All submissions will be peer reviewed. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference. Participants are responsible for covering their costs.
The current due date for submissions is 15 December. An announcement about a possible extension of this deadline will be made on our about 1 December.
If you are interested in participating in this session, please contact me (mendod at rpi.edu) for submission instructions or to discuss any questions you may have.
Yours sincerely,
David Mendonça
