Dear colleagues,
I’m pleased to announce the Beta release of the X-Supply Game (XSG), an
opensource online platform designed for supply chain education through
team-based multi-player supply chain simulation. XSG is influenced by
previous supply chain games, especially the beer game, but introduces
several new concepts, including: configurable network topology, ordering
and shipping decisions and limitations, and triple-bottom-line performance
measurement. The XSG name comes from the game’s capacity to be configured
in various supply chain designs, allowing it to model almost any "X" supply
chain. The source code is available on Github (
https://sinansalman.github.io/xsg/) and you can test drive the game at
https://istm.zu.ac.ae/xsg. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome.
